Welwyn & St Albans Running

A beautifully clear evening, and thankfully temperatures just above freezing this week. Numbers back up too – 4 on short and 3 on long, with both newcomers getting around significantly faster than last time.

5 out tonight on a clear evening with frost starting to form. Noone on the long course (with the usual long runner slowed down by injury) and nobody ended up running the short course properly! Two did short + Reddings, one did short + early long loops, one tripped and retired with injury and one retired to transport the injured home…

2 newcomers and 4 regulars. Strong wind from south with rain.

Damp but not raining. 7 regulars for the first run of the year. And after two dry weeks, the Campus West bar was open.

New Year’s Eve and back to full attendance, but Campus West closed, so no drinks.

Christmas Eve and only RM & HC running short

3 on short, 1 on long – setting a new course record (even considering the deleted times!).

Just two out on a wet and windy evening – 1 short, 1 long. Course records set for both, but only because the WordPress gremlins have erased all but last week’s times…

9 runners tonight. All returned within about a minute.

Dead heat between long and short, though nobody seemed to be looking to break any records. Dry and mild after wet day.
