Welwyn & St Albans Running

2 long, 3 short, 1 hybrid. VH was leading the shorts and did the Frampton loop

A cool but fine, calm evening. 2 on short and 3 on long.

Lots of excuses tonight so just 3 out – one on short (with extra Reddings loop!) and two on long. A bit wet, and rather squelchy underfoot.

Cool and dry – ideal for running. MB guested with a hybrid run, acting as Neil’s pacer.

4 on Short (2 leaders did Reddings loop), 2 on Long. Dry night with little wind.

DD on solo long run did good time considering no pacers, but did not overtake short leaders until Gresley Close. Record short time for 2019. Viv added Reddings Loop.

3 on long; 4 on short. Clear skies but lots of puddles.

3 (fool)hardy runners out in monsoon conditions tonight – although the rain held off for the run! Lots of floods/puddles to avoid though. Definitely not an evening for record-breaking times.

Lead group on the Short reached John Lewis before being overtaken by Dan on the Long – a record.

The first run of the season, and a great turn-out – 3 on the long course and 5 on the short. The longs, despite vowing to take it slowly, managed to set a course record on the slightly longer, post-Oct18 route.
