Four out on a warm, dry evening, and all suffering post-JK. 4 different routes too – one green long and another truncated long, one green short and one short with extra bits.

Gradually improving times for both groups

Another ‘green’ run with both groups improving on the previous week.

The start of the light nights enabled us to revisit the green routes after a 2 year gap. Longs delivered the best times yet. Shorts did not, but managed to keep at a running pace further than before (taking a short walk at the 5km mark nearly all the way up the final hill)

A slower start for the Longs without Dan. Viv left the two men trailing on the Short and delivered a 29 minute time.

A mild, fine evening. Three on short and three on long, with respectable times all round.

No Hodsons, so just 3 on the short and one on the long. Long time was a 2019 best. Short runners decided to chat so had a more leisurely run.

Slower runs tonight, though a notable first for the short runners – overtaking a pack of Garden City Runners on their Tuesday run.

A clutch of PBs tonight! Dan started fast as usual, but was not caught by the other long runners this time (even though they posted PBs). Regulars Viv and Hedley both broke the 29 minute barrier on the 5km course for the first time on the current route.

6 runners split 3 & 3 between long and short. 4th in a run of sub 30 minute times on the short course.
